Little Legacy Learning – Plenty is seeking full time Early Childhood Educators to start as early as November 2019.

We are looking for energetic, caring, reliable, respectful, professional, and educated individuals to teach, guide, and care for our young children.

Little Legacy Learning is in the community of Plenty, Saskatchewan and only opened its doors June 3, 2019.  We are licensed through the Ministry of Education, Early Years Branch.

Requirements:

Must be over 18 years of age, speak English, have First Aid and CPR level C, and have a recent Criminal Record Check (within last two months).

References are required

Early Childhood Education and Early Learning work experience is preferred but will accept applicants who are very interested in working with young children and are willing to obtain their Early Childhood Education level I, II, or III.

Job Details:

Salary: $11-$16/ hour, depending on education and work experience.

Vacancies: 1 full time or 1 part time position

Terms: Permanent, full time or part time (20-40 hours/week, may start as part time to work into full time position).

Children’s Ages: Infancy (6 weeks) to school age children

Start date: November 4, 2019.

Education Option: There is a Tuition Reimbursement grant available through Min. of Ed., Early Years Branch available to those who wish to achieve their ECE levels.

Cre8tive minds early learning child care centre

Cre8tive Minds Early Learning Child Care Centre is accepting applications for the position of Executive Director.
This is a full-time permanent position commencing immediately. Reporting to the Board of Directors the Director will be responsible for ensuring that the center operates in compliance with The Child Care Act, 2014 and The Child Care Regulations, 2015.

The Director will be required to plan, organize, direct and supervise the day to day operations of the organization. This person must also be able to motivate, train and support staff to meet the developmental needs of the children. The director will coordinate the program development and classroom management of our children and staff to ensure we foster a positive, caring and nurturing environment for children. There will be an emphasis on developing physical, social and intellectual growth through indoor and outdoor developmentally appropriate activities and learning.
The Director must have exceptional professionalism when communicating with staff, families and partners and ensure that the center maintains high standards of cleanliness as well as health and safety practices. The Director is required to prepare reports, maintain the finances of the center and prepare reports for the Board of Directors.

Basic Requirements
• Must hold minimum ECE II (and enrolled/working towards ECE III) or recognized equivalent by Saskatchewan Government licencing department
• Minimum of 3 years of administration/management experience in a childcare environment
• First Aid and CPR
• Exemplary administrative and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and professional skills
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude towards children, parents, and staff
• Competent computer skills
• Expertise in Play & Exploration, behavior management
Desirable Requirements
• Bookkeeping knowledge
• QuickBooks knowledge
• Charitable status knowledge
• Non-profit organization knowledge

Salary range: Commensurate with Experience and Qualifications
